Most of us were waiting for it - yesterday the preview 2 of sidux-2007-01 "Χάος" was ready. But just a few minutes after uploading our quality control team discovered a bug, which was nasty enough to hold back publication (was not an easy decision for us). Our development team has fixed the problem, meanwhile we will use the weekend to optimize some minor stuff. Monday/Tuesday we will publically release preview 3, and do hope for your help with testing and discovering last minor bugs - if any. You will for the first time have the opportunity to also test our brand new Meta-Package-Installer, which does work in live mode, too.Posted by : slh on Wednesday, January 24, 2007 - 10:51 PM
It's been a while since our latest status report, now I have the pleasure to announce the first public preview for sidux 2007-01. Please note this is not the final release. The full featured final release of sidux-2007-01 "Χάος" will be ready in 1-2 weeks (i686 and amd64), intermediate xdeltas will be provided as needed until then.
