I think I would go with something like sidux.w00t.net, because let's face it, sidux owns the other teams! And 'kicks ass' isn't really my style. Maybe a spin on pwned, instead....

You only have a finite set of domains to pick from, the sidux.kicks-ass.net is probably one of the easier to remember I suspect. Last I checked that list, that's what it looked like, you can see for yourself on dyndns.com though, they have a list of them. http://www.dyndns.com/services/dns/dyndns/domains.html

but sidux.kicks-ass.net has the quality of making sense, and being easy to remember, which is exactly what you want.

I could offer some spare domains I have on stock here:
noMSwindows.com, no-mswindows.com, noAstaLaVista.com, GooLinux.com. Besides that we could do a us.sidux.com (if slh agrees). We should also check if apt works ok with such DNS-based aliases.
Greetings,
Chris

Oh, you're right. I entirely forgot about that, and I even have my own dyndns with that outfit.

Hooray!

Oh, and that one in Tennessee appears to be a full mirror as well: kernels, repo, etc.

nz mirror is still sync-ing .. ill post when its up

http://sidux.com/Article303.html

sidux.com, sidux.net, debian.tu-bs.de, ftp.spline.de, these are the mirrors that are always up to date

these farther mirrors may not have latest debian-repo contents

when one uses

kernel-source-ng.bash -mNEWURL

NEWURL is where both linux-2.6.22.tar.bz2 and patch-2.6.22.5.bz2 should be, right? or can I use NEWURL to point to http://lug01.eecs.wsu.edu/sidux/kernel/ and will the script get patch-2.6.22.5.bz2 from the default mirror?

I'm loving that mirror. It's almost pushing 2MB/s for me

The Tennessee is closer to me, but it's slower. I guess because is rsync-ing, idk

http://eu.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel isn't bad at all for me. it goes around 750KB/s
