WOW. I started a mirror avalanche! How are you getting all these, etorix? Is it you scouring the net looking for places, or are other users stepping up?

it was just the time for this,
its a mix of walkins/offers
just asking likely strategically chosen mirrors to mirror us
also, i DID delete a thread,
had to replace it with SOMETHING positive
it just got me doing something id bin planning/wondering about
all along like
two more possibly coming up
ie and aus
BTW
tho further mirrors are welcome
active mirror search has ceased for now
further-mirrors-preferred:
south america
japan
korea

Why Washington State University/ Linux User Group and School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Pullman WA, USA hasn't synchronized? Last one was Aug-21 and still have kernel 2.6.22.5-rc1-slh-smp-1.zip. or was it only meant as an iso mirror?

No, it wasn't. But it looks as if the address has changed from what I recall. It used to be ftp.spline.de/mirrors/sidux. Now it's /pub/sidux. So I'll have to pass that on to the server's admin. Thanks for noticing, op4latino.

er, for new mirrors,
and to reduce load on spline
pls use tu-bs from now on
rsync://debian.tu-bs.de/sidux/

FULL line would be like:

Rsync target:
rsync -crlDz --delete --quiet rsync://debian.tu-bs.de/sidux/ [ /path/to/sidux/ ]

Gee, I already had Matt fix the mirror to spline for wsu. Sorry about that, but I am not going to bother him to change it again unless you come over here and twist my arm or something Wink

Both servers are push mirrors and always get uploads first, but tu-bs is an order of a magnitude better connected and faster.

Dugg. The HTML code worked fine in the preview, yet when I submit the story it was nowhere to be found, hence the first comment.
